Besides writing cookbooks, Daniel is a rnowned food essayist and storyteller. Daniel has more than 25 years in the restaurant business, starting as a busboy when just a freshman in high-school. He moved to the kitchen where he was a; Line Cook, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef. Daniel created America’s 1st ever Venetian Wine Bar (Bacaro) with his Bar Cichetti where he was; Chef, Wine Director, and Managing Partner. Daniel is one of America’s leading authorities of Italian Wine. Daniel lives and writes in New York’s Greenwich Village where he is currently working on his lates book POSITANO a Guide to Positano Capri Sorrento and The Amalfi Coast, through Stories, Facts, and Recipes of the Cuisine of the area.
